Help I need Somebody
It was my first day as a volunteer for the Suicide Hotline.
Ring. Ring.
“Hello, Suicide Hotline, I’m Rosamond, how can i help you?”, I said.
“I’ll be leaving in the morning for a place I hope I find, all the places must be better than the ones’ I leave behind”, said a youthful male voice.
“When you think you’ve had too much of life, well hang on, because everybody hurts”, I told him.
“It’s not easy to be me”, he said.
“Please whatever is bothering you, you have so much to give, some change, you wanna live”.
“My girlfriend broke up with me, I just wanna die”.
“When you love someone and they break your heart, don’t give up on love, have faith, restart, just hold on, hold on”.
“Do you think I could maybe call you back again some time?”,he asked.
“Yes, I want you to do that”, I said.
“I will remember you, will you remember me?, he said.”
“You’re unforgettable, that’s what you are”, I said.
The phone rang again.
“I think that you are unforgettable too”.
