I Miss You Like A Giraffee Misses High Heels.
I grabbed his hand, just like the good ole days. And at my touch, I felt him relax. I, too, realized how much I missed him; his warmness and happiness and just everything that kept me smiling. Forgeting.
As soon as I pulled him into a semi deserted corridor his other hand wound in my hair and he started mumuring my name. I never knew my ordinary name could sound so beautiful.
“I miss you,” he declared.
I shook my head, but he misunderstood and took a step back. I lunged for him and closed the distance that had been growing in our days apart.
“You have no idea how hard it is for me,” I whispered, still slightly scared.
“What?”
“How hard it is to stay mad at you,” I confessed, and kissed him on the cheek. He gave me a really tight hug and lifted me off the ground like in the movies. We both were smiling as we were heading to our last classes.
But… there was so much betting against me..
