Strangers
I slowly watched as the horizon faded over the mountain. I was alone. Again. But this time was diffferent I was Not going back ever! I had made it this far and I had no intentions of retuning to home.
Now with this in mind I headed back to the main road sliding/ falling off the mountain where I had been. As my worn shoes finally hit the pavement of the road I beathed a sigh of relief. No more dad, no more mom, no one else it was just me and the wildeness.
” Just me!” I vowed heading down the road, detemined not to look back, but even as I said the words I knew it wasn’t like that. I was sure to be safe I thiught just had to make ot to the city, alone with no one to follow me. But no, there were always others some human some not.
