Denise put her jeep in drive &drove off.

John took a walk into the shadows of the streets with his head down thinking about how he just lost everything by seeing her.”I’m such a dumbass.”
After a good hour of thinking he return to his car and drove home. When he approached his house, he didnt see Denise’s car outfront so he proceed in.
