Kiss

I wasn’t late which was good. My cell was on silent in my pocket, which was good. And he was waiting like an obedient puppy who couldn’t wait to see his owner which well, was pretty darn good. We sat in the back of the theatre. We reached a sort of sappy-romantic part of the movie and he pulled out a gift from his pocket.
I unwrapped it and inside was a silver necklace that said Homecoming?
“I had it made for you,” He said flicking his hair nervously.
I was lost for words, it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. I just nodded. He smiled and leaned forward. My heart was pounding, and then, he kissed me. His arms wrapped around me, and I wrapped my arms around him. He broke away and took the necklace. “Want to put it on?”
I nodded and he put it on me. I looked down at it for a second and then looked at him. He put up the arm rest in between us and pulled me close and kissed me again. I could feel his heart pounding as I wrapped my arms around him, drinking in every moment, every touch.
