A Day Never Forgotten
I sit, thinking, of a day
A day I will never foget
The day I lost my brother
My mother lost a son
My niece lost a father
A great father
A father who lost his life,
like many others.
In a battle of hate
A battle of two
And a battle of many
Many who lost
Many who sorrow
Many who die
For that day those buildings collasped
I curse the heavens so
And yet I pray
For those like me
Who have to go through today
September 11th
The way I do now
In sorrow
In pain
In remembrance
Of those who died
Of those I loved
And of those who which I never got to say Goodbye
