I’m unclear about the reasoning behind displacing students from their dorms and relocating them to the library. Did this come from the governor or the university’s president (chancellor? chairperson?)? It has a bit of a Manzanar vibe to it…

Well, I’ve always been unclear on the reasoning, but I believe it was a 2-part effort.

Probably, our illustrious president chose the location, however. I said there were people in Massachusetts who didn’t know where Fitchburg was – I think the governor could be included in that group.
