Come What May, Pt. 108
“Dreamy, this is wonderful. Being with you has been great as it is, but like this…we have so much freedom. I love it. I love you,” Oliver says as we sit at the grand piano in the music room. We have been tinkering around with the piano for an hour now, coming up with melodies.
“I love you too, Oliver,” I respond, leaning in to kiss him. We get carried away, and again we fail to notice approaching footsteps. “I can’t say I blame you, Dream,” comes my mother’s voice from the doorway. We jump apart, even though we know we’ve been caught.
“But, you already knew, didn’t you mom?” I ask. She shrugs. “A mother knows these kind of things, Dream. To be honest, I suspected that there was something between you two when I saw the video. It was in the way that you two looked at eact other…and I saw that same look when you got here. Sure, it’s wrong to have an affair. But, it isn’t wrong tp be madly in love. You two, are deeply in love.”
She ruffles Oliver’s hair, and kisses me on the forehead.
