Nolan was back at home in a matter of seconds. He sat down at the table and began working on homework. Then his father staggered in.

“What are youuu doin’ boy? I thought i tolddd you to clean you-your oh forget it!”he slurred. Nolsn’s dad had once been a hero too. But, one day he cracked, a woman didn’t get saved. One woman, and Nolan’s dad, Mega Man, cracked and began drowning himself in alchohal and booze.

“Go back to bed dad,”Nolan calmly replied”Remember, you’re tired?” and he left. Nolan finished his his homework and made himself some dinnar and went to bed. All night his dad grumbled like a shell-shocked war veteran.
