It was an internet relationship at first, but then it became a phone thing. I know it sounds weird but I didn’t even see a picture before I told him I loved him.
Whenever we were going to meet, something always happened. Something would keep him from coming. Deaths in the family, some disease of some sort, a sudden overload of projects at work…
But love makes blind.
It never occured to me that he was just invisible. And falling in love with someone you’ve never seen is one thing, but staying in love with someone that you can never see is another.
