Vampire
My entire life I wanted to be a vampire. I was dark and cold. Even when I was in pre-school, I would try to bite my fellow classmates to see if I could reach blood. No wonder I was always in trouble sitting in the principal’s office, or sitting in detention, or getting an uncomfortable talk from my parents.
I was at Camp Silverwood for the summer. I hated it. Too much sun. So one night, just to revive myself, I snuck out into the woods to relax in the dark. There was a crunching noise all of a suddden. It continued up ahead. I walked, crouched and quietly, toward the noise. It sounded like bones being snapped in half. I pulled back the trees, and gasped in horror. One of my crushes from this camp, Simon, held a dead, bloody rabbit in his arms.
He had blood dripping down the corners of his mouth. Thankfully, he didn’t notice me. He continued to tear apart the rabbit. It was too gruesome and depressing for me. I couldn’t move.
