Kate is your average woman (though slightly better-looking because the cameras are rolling and we want people to pay to see this film). She should also be able to deliver her lines with grace, irony and emotion – at once. Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls) works. Kristen Bell (with brown hair) (Veronica Mars) would be good.

Joe is a good-looking man, with a great sense of humor and a quick wit. He has a sharp brain and a kind heart. His eyes should show tenderness, his smirk show superiority. His face has to say more than his words do. Josh Radnor (How I Met Your Mother) or John Krasinski (The Office).

Adam is a looker, but he has an attitude problem. He does care for Kate, but he’s been lying to himself for so long that he believes it might be love. We’ll need a really good-looking guy who can carry multiple emotions on his face. Either of the brothers from Supernatural would work: Jared Padalecki or Jensen Ackles.

    I’m with the Tarzan – cast Josh Radnor – I want Krasinski to put all of his attention into The Office. Nice list too. I also think Veronica Mars would make a good Kate.
