Cytheria was watching us. Her envy was hidden, her anger did not show, but inside she was a storm at sea. Venus, the goddess of Love and Beauty, born from the sea and sky. Loved enough to hate, and hated enough to love. She loved me, she didn’t want anything in the way of us. Cytheria wanted to be my one and only love.

Jackson and I retreated from the water. Back to back we dressed, he didn’t sneak any looks, I know I did. We walked towards the barn, he held my hand. We called to Cytheria, she was on the second level. I went up the ladder, Jackson behind me, Cytheria was laying on the hay.

“So I am the crazy one swimming in the lake when theres light out, and you two are perfectly normal people that decided to jump in when it’s dark as black out” she gently scolded. “Was it fun?” she asked raising her eyebrow and smiling. “Yes Cy Cy”, I answered. “Come here Jaselyn” she beckoned me. I walked towards her and Jackson sat on the floor. She bewitched me, I did anything she wanted, she was a goddess.
