For the Last Time

It begans to rain your motionless body struggles to move.
Muscles locked, your pain slowly returns.
The drug calls you relentlessly, it whispers to you.
The whispers turn into screams.
You pull yourself into a corner curl up, your cold, the rain beats steady down on your face.
You don’t care, you can’t care.
You cry and plead for the pain to subside only it intensifies.
Your hands start to tremble, body follow’s suit.
Your muscles tighten as does your chest and throat.
The thirst the hunger the need,
stronger than the love for life itself.
Time escape’s you, your mind can only focus on your next fix.
Where and how will you get it, your money’s gone.
You know, you feel your life slipping away with drop of rain.
You welcome death a sweet release.
The devil reaches for you in his hand he holds the power;
the only meaning in your miserable existence.
You reach out the needle sides into your arm you smile and curl into the fetal position.
Then you close your eye’s for the last time.
