Ignorant Bliss -- Emphasis on the "Ignorant"

I sighed and contemplated that the night could simply not have been more perfect. The moon could not have been brighter or fuller, the lake could not have been more pristine, the grass could not have been any more crisp and dewy. I rolled my head towards her, her smooth features drawn into sharp relief by the moonlight.

My bliss was broken by a small buzzing in her jacket, laying without its owner next to me. I reached over for it, but suddenly, she was there, stopping my hand.

“Don’t worry, I’ll get it,” she said, voice way more relaxed than her grip. I shrugged and lay back as she drew a phone I hadn’t seen before out of an inside pocket.

It flipped open. She held up a finger to signal “one minute” and dashed away into the nearby trees.

I sighed, back in heaven, and wondered how I had gotten such an amazing girlfriend.

It turned into confusion as I heard my beaten Jeep rumble into life behind me. I sat up and turned around. The headlights were already fading.

My girlfriend just stole my car.
