I was at the sink, washing my face off. “Worst day of my life. Worst day of my life.” I kept saying to myself, over and over.

Mom walked in. “Tarra! What were you thinking saying things like that to your sister! And in front of her friends!”

“Mom, look what she did!! I never want to talk to her again! I wasn’t lying! I really do hate her!!! Nobody pays attention to me ever since she came! Not even you!”

Mom was speachless for a moment. “Alright,” she said, “go to your room. You’re grounded.”

“Fine!!!” I screamed

I ran off to my room, slamming the door as hard as I could behind me.

I sat on my bed and cried for a while. Then the crying stopped, and I just sat there, thinking about what had happened.
