Promise me, that you will always be there for me. You know what life has to offer, and what it can do. Promise me that you will be there for me when I need you, As I have done for you. I need you in my life,for the unsavory moments in life. You are important, you are necessary, you are required.

If I die before you, I will go to heaven and wait for you, I will make sure you have a lofty place in heaven wating for you. I want to be there to tell god, about us, about the perfect friend. I want to go heaven and tell god that i had your friendship every step of the way.

    I know. I’m a jerk. I read your ficlet, and all the sequels. Then I got all dark and evil. I had to sequel. I’m not sure what I meant by all of it, and I don’t think I mean it. But there’s another side to promises, the expectation, and for some, a fear of failure to keep them. I don’t mean to disagree with the lovely sentiment, just proposing a different possibility, which I do far too often. Maybe I am a little evil.
