Color perception is a matter of geography

by The Dod

They’ve spotted me. I tried to disguise myself as one of them. We’ve studied them for years. I was trained in acting and thinking like them, I went thru surgery in order to look like one of them, yet – something was wrong here. Something in the way people were trying to avoid me, look the other way, not something specific, but there was suspicion in the air. The earthlings were getting restless.

Ah, yes. A familiar feeling. How they can always spot us, I’ll never know…
    I mean… Uh… Great story.

I don’t have this problem. I only come out at night, only go in dark alleys, and in order to distract attention from things that might be off-color, I wear extremely mismatching and flashy female clothing. Those earthlings are so violent, though. That’s why I stay on the enjoying my black and whiteness in peace
