Stay for a While [Music Challenge]

“We were walking, just the other day…” slid on its slippery way through the dry air of the apartment, robbed of moisture by the heater.

“How…many times…does that make?” I manage to ask between fervent kisses.

“Five, six. Shut up and kiss me,” she says back, smiling devilishly through each and every kiss. I never thought I’d see this side of her when we met in class, but darned if I was going to pass on it.

“I watched as sweat ran down your face, reached up and I caught it at your chin…“

“I should…shut it off.”

“Do you want to get up and…turn it off?” That was by far the most wicked thing I had ever heard this woman say. There was really only one answer.

“Doing nothing for the fun, a little taste of the good life…“

“Your…roommates?” I ask.

“Due any minute…like you care.” This was serious. Was I falling for this woman? What’s happening? What should I be doing?

“Makes us want to stay, stay, stay for awhile…“

Guess I’ll just stay…for a while.

I’m going to have to hunt up this song, because I’m not remembering it right now. A very sweet story. I love how you intersperse the lyrics throughout the text.
