Ficlet Number CL: A Cup of Inspiration

I have finally reached the point of no return. That point was actually the day I wrote my first Ficlet but here I am on number 150. In celebration of that number, I will not just issue a challenge, but toss out a bit of an inspirational jolt.

I give to you three choices, because life is all about choice. Which path will you take? It’s up to you. I can only point the way. Choose wisely.

I. I decided to go for an evening stroll. I walked about three blocks when I felt it…

II. I watched the show right along with you. Heroes was my favourite. I couldn’t wait for Monday to roll around. Then it all became too real…

III .Who would you like to have been in a past life? Who would you have hated to be? Write a scene of dialogue between those two.

Have fun, be inspired, push the envelope.

And in Jenunique fashion, I end the challenge with a song:

“I’m not the one who’s so far away
When I feel the snake bite enter my veins.
Never did I wanna be here again,
And I don’t remember why I came.“

    Oh, I don’t think it’s at all where you were thinking a story might go, but you know me. Always going my own way and all. It’s pretty bad, but there it is, my entry to the challenge. Sometimes I really embarrass myself.

    Not at all, that is why I LOVE it so much. I absolutely adore the surprises. Predictable can be boring. This was definitely NOT boring. Love love LOVE it!!

    Yeah, I don’t know if it’s spring fever or laziness, or a combination of the two. Plus I am enjoying everyone else’s Ficlets so much I am not taking much time for myself. However, my comment numbers are going crazy. ;) Looking forward to those days when the house is quiet and the computer is calling my name. :D

    Okay, I felt inspired so I entered another. This time I did question 3: the dialogue between who I’d want to be and who I’d hate to be.
