“Jocinda, you are not thinking in context of 5 billion years… on a planet… with nothing but milk and cheese…. “

“and honey… ”, interrupted Tobin.

“When did you pass them?”, Jocinda asked impatiently.

“About 4.9 billion years ago.”, answered Flandip.

“So.. You knew the world was going to be attacked by a ‘giant cookie’,” (this part she said in the most dripping sarcasm available and had the creatures listening to it been human, they would have immediately required a bath to clean themselves off) “4.9 billion years ago and it took you another 4.4 billion”..

“Give or take a few thousand..”, interrupted Tobin, striving for accuracy in the report he was writing to the high council as Jocinda came to grips with this whole situation.

Jocinda gave Tobin a venomous look.
