Shop Til You Drop From Laughing

“Dresses,” Lilly whispered looking down.

“You’re worrying.” Kate replied.

Lilly felt the dent in her knee from her soccer injury. It looked disgusting; it felt digusting and it was standing in the way of a cute dress.

“Lilly,” Kate assured her, “I swear if you don’t get a good dress, I’ll force you into one.”

“Jeez Hon, calm down.”

“Hon.” Kate told her as they strolled into the dress shop. Together, they headed toward the prom ones, picking out about oh ten each. Laughing and giddy, they got a dressing room and began the process.

“It doesn’t have to perfect.” Lilly said as Kate zipped the back of a red one.

“Yes it does.” Kate snapped back as Lilly helped with a blue.

“What is perfect anyway?”

“Me!” They chuckled and then stepped out to check the dresses.

Kate glanced at Lilly as she looked back. Together, they came up with, “Next.” They giggled again and hurried back into the dressing room to try again. In the end, Kate choose a pink long one and Lilly a green. They were ready.
