The only thing wrong with it is the lack of references to a vegetarian dragon, serial marriages, the end of the world, or an epic 40-something part jaunt through space and time. Then, and only then, would it have been the Perfect Ficlet, the archetype of which all other ficlets are merely imperfect shadows flickering on the walls of the internet….
