Macy plopped down into the sand to think.
First off, Macon and good just didn’t belong in the same sentence. So how could he be better?
And then she had to think about his options. She would not, repeat NOT , be dumping Derrick just because of Macon. That’s just not an option.
But Macon could also tell Shane. And no matter what he did to Macy, she always felt something for Shane. Whether he was replaced or not.
And there was also the issue of telling Derrick what she did with Macon. This was going to be a really complicated weekend.
Macy sighed and headed back over to the group. She drifted on through their conversation. It mostly didn’t make sense because every couple of seconds, whoever was talking would get tickled by a guy and they’d go off into flirt mode. Macy was not enjoying herself.
When it was her turn to speak, Macon came up from behind and grabbed her playfully. “Oh my god.” Macy said. The whole group was watching now.
“Okay Macy, just um get your flirt on.” a different voice.
