Doctor? Not me. Dancer? Have you seen my two left feet? Teacher? Not really. Professional athlete? Not so mcuh. Band member? Oh yeah!

“I can picture it now,” I said to Erin, my friend who was sitting next to me. “My own record deal!” She listened intently, though I knew I was boring her. “I mean,” I continued on. “Imagine meeting the All Time Low! Or being the next Fall Out Boy!”

I started rambling. “Of course, I’d bring you to all the parties, if I make it that far.” She smiled at this, nodding her head. “Then, ” she said, sighing. “I can meet Danny Jones, and we’ll fall madly in love.” I shook my head at this notion.

“I don’t care who you meet, as long as I meet Zack Merrick.” She pushed me playfully, although I did lose my balance for a moment. “You, ” she told me, yogurt threatening to spill off her spoon. “Are obsessed.” This idea teetered in my mind. “Yeah,” I agreed. “But I’m going to try my best to get there.”

    That would be pretty awesome…too bad I can’t play an instrument and my singing makes small children cry. Sigh…maybe author is better suited for me.
