I must say, this definetly for a challenge. I’ve never known what I wanted to do, but Ficlets has realized that writing is my thing.

When I was little, I wanted to be so many things. Mailman, superhero, chef, teacher, nun, the list goes on and on. Every little kid has that dream job, something they imagine must be the ultimate career. What did you, or do you, want to be when you “grow up”?

Write a ficlet, in any style, any length. As many entries as wanted are permitted, because Buddha knows I wanted to be so many things when I was little.

And if you still don’t know what you want to be, make something up. I mean, I’ve always wanted to be a nature researcher, which is rather vague, but I’ve always considered it a valid career choice.

    Awesome. Consider me impressed by the solid 9:1 comments to ficlets ratio. And I was definitely there with the childhood plan of being a superhero. Man, was I bummed when that didn’t work out.

    Wonderful challenge. A challenge within a challenge because I still don’t know what I want to be whenever I decide to grow up. (And by the looks of things, I may be to aged to do whatever that may be by the time I decide. ;) ) Now… Off to ponder the many possibilities….
