Wow. I love all the imagery. This whole series is addicting!

Powerful imagery. I like the muddled, confused way the intense final scene has been moving along for the involved characters.

“Ah ha ha. Finally, a mistake,” he cackled maniacally.
Wait, um… where was I? Oh yes. “Until recently” in this passage, “the doorway of her until recently much-adored teacher,” should probably be set off by em-dashes or commas.
Other than that, brilliant as always. I love “wrapped in the river’s embrace.” Nice imagery. Though I’m inclined to believe someone will dive in after her.

I know everyone’s going on about the imagery, but it’s awesome, I’m not gonna lie. I’m thinking Perkins might be right; I have the feeling Sissy’s not completely out of the picture quite yet.

Amazing imagery, as usual. You did a great job. And I agree with John and g2 when they say Sissy probably isn’t out of the picture yet.

Now that we all said it, he’s going to kill her just to prove us wrong.

On another series I might kill a character to spite the readers (which says a lot about my own pathology), but this series has been plotted out since ficlet #1 to bring us here, where it all started with a very bad dream. Wrap up soon to follow. Thanks for all the great comments, everyone!
