“What’s next, Mr. Mysterious?” I asked him once we skipped out on work. He was staring at me though. “What?”

“I didn’t think you would actually do it. It’s so weird.”

“Yeah well, weird describes every time I’ve ever talked to you.” I was joking but he didn’t get it. It’s that stupid jock brain of his.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” He actually looked concerned. Oh God.

“It’s just that you’re so different.” I laughed at myself, actually saying one of those repeating lines like they do in the movies or at the end of books when boy and girl finally get each other. I just haven’t got to my happily ever after yet.

“So don’t you wanna know how I’m going to make it up to you?”

“Yeah … just a little bit.” I blushed at my attempt of flirting.

“Well let’s go.” He reached for my hand.

“Go where?”

“You want me to ruin the surprise?”

“Uh yeah.” Truth was, I didn’t want him to but I needed some excuse to keep the conversation going.

“Well a hint is, be prepared to get wet.” Wet? What?

    Wow, this story’s about to get wet and wild, in one way or another! So many of your endings in this series could be taken in multiple ways. It’s keeping me on my toes.

    Most jocks are stupid, it’s true. I am still wondering what the surprise is. It reminded me of this from transformers.
