Today, well…technically last night without realizing it, I finally made the 400 ficlets mark. Granted, if I had not taken my four month vacation from ficlets, we would have been here a lot sooner.

But to the point.

I’ve been writing a series about working at Starbucks…but, I challenge you to write a ficlet about Starbucks, or things that happen at Starbucks.

I mean, you either like it or you hate it. Or, like some, you’re madly obsessed with the place, but just can’t place why.

Hint? They’re secretly adding addictive nonsense into their beverages to convince you that you need to come back.

Hey, that could be a story right there.

So, go crazy. The more outrageous the better.

    Okay, I’m in, and the bonus points for being first are about the only I’m entitled to on this one. I had this idea, kind of, sort of, but I don’t think it worked within the character limit.

    I’m proud to announce that there is not a single Starbucks in my town!

    But on the other hand, we have two Tim Horton’s….

    I’d entered a couple days ago, but I forgot to mention how much fun it was!
    @ Orange oreos: I can also say there’s not a single Starbucks or Tim Horton’s in my town! The only franchises in my small town (2 streetlights on the main street) are Talbot’s & a fish-fry (the only reason it’s a franchise is because it started here… Woo!)
