Residing Dreams (Chapter 23)

Though no one in thier right, sensible mind believed this story, it still hurt because I realized that I couldn’t trust all my friends anymore.

Plus, there was the time one of my friends started a rumour that my dad overheard her say that her sister had started hanging out with the wrong crowd at high school, going too far with boys and things like that.

Really, my dad knew nothing about it, but he was still accused of spreading it arund the school. So that was another big ordeal.

After a while, the drama died down, but there were still many other rumours started by different people, among many being that I was gay too, and that I was a total loser who paid people to be her friends.

And there were also people bashing my father fairly often, and stating the truth as well—that he was homosexual.

Kids were usually sly with gossiping, so I don’t think the teachers ever figured out everything they were saying.
