Kristine Smith
Kristine Smith was born in Buffalo, NY. She grew up in Florida, and graduated from the University of South Florida with a BS in Chemistry. She has spent almost her entire working career in manufacturing/R&D of one kind or another, and has worked for the same northern Illinois pharmaceutical manufacturer for almost 20 years.
She’s the author of the Jani Kilian science fiction series, beginning with CODE OF CONDUCT, which was a finalist for the 1999 Philip K Dick Award. The latest book in the series, ENDGAME, will be released in November 2007. Kristine is the winner of the 2001 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer.
