Homework (Part3)

I wasn’t a straight A student, but I wasn’t a slacker either.
It was only the beginning of the year, and the teachers had already started piling on homework, typically anxious to find out who was actually there to learn, and who was there to crack jokes.
I was, of course, there to learn. It was difficult though, with the pressure. There was the pressure, the pressure to do extremely well, and above academic standards, as put on by the teachers.
They can’t take the blame though. They were at the bottom of the food chain. They were the messengers, sent out by the people who ultimately run the schools. People who blame the teachers, or as the analogy goes, “shoot the messengers,â€? are simply foolish.
They are foolish people who don’t realize that teachers go out of their way to do there job. Instead of becoming a doctor, and earning as much salary as possible, they do what they like, and earn as little salary as possible.
I simply don’t think it’s fair.
