Only Babies are Scared of the Dark
“Come on, Caroline.”
“Ashley! Do we have to go in there?” Carline’s voice shook from fright and the dampness seeping out the doorway.
“Don’t tell me your scared of the dark. Only babies are scared of the dark.”
“I’m not scared of the dark! Come on, lets go.”
Ashley led the way into the dark room, stepping over broken peices of wood and other debri. The room stank of mildew. Caoline was right behind Ashley, barely able to breathe the stale air. Suddenly, they heard a noise. Both of them froze with terror.
After a few minutes of utter silence, the girls continued. A few more steps and Ashley screamed! She reached for the closest thing to grab onto, which happened to be Caroline. Caroline screamed in fright and shock.
“Ashley? What happened? Are you ok?”
