New York here I come 2
Sitting there I began thinking of what I would be leaving behind, and really it wasn’t that much. Both of my parents had past away some where between freshmen year and the first semester of law school, the closest thing to family I had was a small calico named Daphne. Ah yes Preston, I had forgotten about him. I glance around my flat seeing the different things that are a part of him. The game system sitting by the TV, the war movies next to my copy of Gone with the Wind, and looking into the bedroom, his jeans, still laying in a heap on the floor. I don’t love him; I did once, but then I got tired of waiting for him to make up his mind. We have been together for 6 years and he still claims not to be ready to get married. He is a few years older than me, for some reason I thought that would make a difference.
I call Mr. Westin at home and tell him I will take the job, I think I woke up his wife but he seemed pleased I had gotten back to him so quickly.
