Amaster, the root of every online name and/or email address that I’ve ever had, but what is the root of that peculiar name?

It was inspired from a book. It was a book about a group of kids online, and one of the screen names used was zmaster(Sound familiar?). That character used the first letter of his last name and added -master to it. The character’s name was Zanelli.
I used the same formula.
