The Interstice

Everett was one of the few who knew the Governments were slowly forming an interstice between them. With each passing day, each passing memo, the inevitable gap between the two cracked just a bit wider. The dark recesses the Presidents hid behind, offering false promises in the hopes that someone would accept them.

The New Government, however, would soon come into play. Toppling the rival factions of the two nations would be a nearly impossible task – but it was one that had to be carried out. Without a reformation, the tandem life of the separate Governments would become meaningless, a vicious cycle of lies and thin veneers. The slow destruction would steadily but surely come unless action was taken.

Everett was one of the primary leaders of this movement. He knew that if these cheating Presidents were not taken out of power, the nations and eventually the world would collapse. It was a grueling job, but without it, that’s exactly what would happen.
