All Hallow's Eve, Part II: Conniving Claudia
Every Halloween ever since, a lucky couple got to stay the night. Many of them had sworn to have seen her ghost, even more had sworn that absolutely nothing had happened between them. Yeah right, is what I had to say to that. The couples could never seem to find proof of their sightings of Sister Anastasia’s ghost, but proof of something else going on in the room often came in the form of unplanned pregnancies, which some previous couples had experienced.
This year, it was my turn as captain of the cheer-leading team. And if I had any say in the matter, something would definitely be happening that night. And not necessarily of the supernatural nature.
I’ve had my eye on the captain of the football team, Brett, since freshman year. He’s been going steady with Stacy for three years, but I knew that after one night with me, Stacy wouldn’t stand a chance.
“Aren’t you scared, Claudia?” my friend Lynette asked me, but I just flipped my platinum blond hair and laughed.
“Me, scared? Stacy should be scared.”
