Love Howie’s suggestion(s) on the Four Horsemen. Here’s my casting call for them, though:
Famine = Christian Bale (circa The Machinist)
Pestilence = Eric Idle (Monty Python)
War = Stellan Skarsgård (“Bootstrap Bill” from Pirates Of The Caribbean)
Death = some monstrous creation a la Zombie Mum from Dead Alive/Braindead

Eric Idle would make a good pestilence, I think…disease with a wry, British wit.
