I really like the detail in this. My favorite line is “Something about this moment causes my heart to both break and burst at the same time”. I want a sequel. why wont they ever be there again?

You sure have a way with stories like this. What was it The Man wrote? “A million dreams of love surround her.” Perhaps that can be the title of your ficlets anthology: A Million Dreams of Love. I’d buy it.

You took one small moment in this person’s life (fictional, yes, but who cares, it feels real!) and magnified it tenfold. So beautiful. This is one of the best ficlets I’ve read.
