Germany to America
We decided to go on foot, well, Shade did. He could get there faster than any car, and there was no running speed limit. We brought nothing, no bags, nothing but a gold key. This key was the most treasured thing I owned, and only Shade and me knew what it was to. And that’s how it is going to stay, I’m so not telling you.
We reached the airport, bought our tickets, and simply smiled as we walked, luggageless, onto the flight. I’d had enough money to afford first class and everything that came with it for the both of us. Shade had thanked me all the way to our seats, and I steadily reminded him that I’d only had to kill one person for that money, forging my License to Kill the entire time. Then again, it’d been hard coming up with a last name… I was born without one.
Bored, I fastened my seatbelt and proceeded to do a crossword puzzle. Germany to America, with my adorable boyfriend at my side. You know what? Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad.
