Daddy's Note
What seemed like days, but was really just a few hours, we arrived at the Philidelphia airport in Pennsylvania. Why on earth would somebody want to live here? I found myself thinking. I mean, it was a pretty sight to be seen, but Germany seemed so much.. better. Nicer. Cleaner.
Oh look, they have graffiti here too! I thought remembering Berlin. I was ready to go do some too, but I decided against it.
Adding yet another hour to our already extensive trip, we finally arrive at a hotel, where we were going to stay until tomorrow. I checked the time – 6PM. Wonderful – there’s not much time to go exploring.
“Hi,” I said to the check-in lady, “Theresa and Dylan Yomin?”
“Yes, room 107.” she replies and hands me the key card.
“You made my name Dylan?!” Shade whispers to me on our way up the elevator. “Why couldn’t you let me pick?!”
”’Cause you were sleeping. Now hush, people are coming.”
Upon arriving at our door, we found a note.
Come back and visit soon.
Love, Mikey.
