I read Wil Wheaton’s web site cause he’s a pretty cool guy. I talked to him a couple times while playing poker online and he came off as a level headed kinda guy when I was expecting him to be some stuck up Hollywood star.

His last post directed me to Ficlets, and since I’m a half assed(“but I thought I was using my whole ass” – Homer) hack of a short story writer, I thought I’d write a prequel to Nevermore.

P.S. Oddly enough, Wil wrote Nevermore the same day I was attacked by a Pit Bull which influenced the whole shotgun part of my prequel. If I had a shotgun, that dog would have been dead, big time.
I was lucky I didn’t get bitten by Cujo. I was close enough to my front door to get away from him. I could see the blood lust in his eyes when he charged at me, and I swear I heard him growl “Fresh Meat!” I’m just glad he came up on me and not some kid or little dog.
