10 Minutes
Ten minutes, that’s all that was left.
Just ten more minutes and the end of the world was upon us.
The longest ten minutes of my life.
I stare at the clock in disbelief that the end would come in my lifetime.
Nostradamus, Revelations, the Mayans had all predicted it.
But I was an unbeliever. But not anymore.
Not much I can do about it. It’s out of my hands, even though I indirectly caused it.
Nine and a half minutes to zero hour. I pause and reflect.
I’ll lay here and close my eyes.
Nine minutes to go.
