Interesting, especially the bit about indirectly causing it, seeming to hint it’s a man-made end to the world as opposed to the Biblical variety.

I’ve been very happy that my super vague story managed to garner so many branches.

I like how you imagined the character causing the end of the world, I did too. I still don’t know how or why though.
