Ending 2 ((a solider's wife))
As I parked my car a man in a solider’s uniform got out of the other car. I walked up to him, my mind racing with unpleasnt possiblites.
“Can I help you?” I said politly.
“Mrs. Robin?” He asked.
“Yes?” I said, not liking his tone of voice.
“This is about your husband, George. I regret to inform you. Your husband has passed away. I’m sorry Miss.” The officer said as he turned back to his car.
I saw him drive away through the tears in my eyes. I went into the house. My mind refused to process what I was just told. The rest of the day passed in a blur. That night was the first time I cried all day. Like the night before, I didn’t get any sleep. I cried until I couldn’t cry anymore. Then I layed in my bed unable to move, or think.
This can’t be happening..
