School Bus.
Friday
Ding dong
“Linds! Chels is at the door. Are you ready?” My mom yelled up the stairs.
“Yeah, I’m coming!” I called just finishing applying concealer to cover the bags under my eyes, caused from my wonderfully sleepless night of crying.
I ran down the stairs, grabbed my backpack and was out the door.
“Hey Chels. How was your night?” Lindsay asked trying to sound cheerful.
“Eh. Okay, I guess. Yours was that bad?” Chelsea asked seeing through Lindsay’s fake cheefulness.
“I didn’t get any sleep. I couldn’t stop thinking about him.” Lindsay said, “Oh, and my mom is okay with you sleeping over Saturday.”
“Sweet. I’ll ask my mom tonight about it. I’m sure she’ll have no problem with it. I mean we’re practically sisters right?” Cheslea said laughing.
“Yeah, we’ve known each other how long now?” Lindsay smiled.
“Waaay to long.” Chelsea agreed.
“Crap Chels, there’s the bus!! Come on, run!” Lindsay shouted as she took off running, her heavy backpack slowing her down majorly.
