I’m thrilled, too, that Simon’s “kug calling days” are behind him—I’d worried that I’d let Simon off the hook too easily and not really done a good job of conveying the awfulness of what he’d resorted to: you’ve done a great job of continuing and expanding that theme. My hat’s off to you, and I’d give you five stars if only I could!

My goodness this story began many a ficlet ago. It would be exhausting to get caught up now but, wow. Tarzan, you and the rest here are in deep, like novella deep (maybe that’s an exaggeration). I’m new but I hope to one day write and be inspired as much as you are. bravo.
