Oh So Romantic
“Oh Jen.” He breathed into my ear.
“Yes?” I whispered.
“I love you.” He said. Perfect timing I thought. I smiled up at him and he kissed me as the sun began to dip below the horizon. He couldn’t have pick a more romantic spot.
“I love you to.” I said and kissed him again. This time he pulled away. He bent down, as if to tie his shoe. I had to surpress my laughter, I had a feeling this wasn’t the time.
Then he was on one knee, looking up at me. Was he really asking me tonight? Now, after all that had happened?
“Jen?” He took a deep breath, I could tell he was nervous. “Will you be my wife?”
“Oh Aaron!” I said “I would be honored to be your wife!” I was almost screaming with histeria now. I can’t wait to tell everyone! Oh there’s so much to do!!
He stood and kissed me. We stood there kissing until the sun had long gone to bed. Neither of us could bear to tear ourselves away.
“You’ve made me so happy, yet so sad.” I said to him.
“I know, and I apoligize. It won’t happen again.”
