Found you!
I grabbed my graffiti-style snowboard and ran out the door with my coolest-looking snow clothes.
I literally dived out the door, to roll onto the soft white powder.
I sprinted behind my house, strapped onto my snowboard, and sped down the hill. I carved down the entire hill, sending the newly fallen snow flying in wavelike crescents. I jumped, did a 360 degree turn, and landed in a puff of white smoke.
I spun a full circle to stop, sending a circular wave of snow out around me.
I unstrapped, ran up knocked on the door.
Mel’s mom opened the door
“Can I help you?” Her mom asked.
“Yeah, it Mel there?” I responded.
“She went out about a minuted ago.”
“Oh, okay, thanks anyway.”
I closed the door, looked up and down the sidewalk for Mel.
Then I saw her, waist length honey-blond hair, in a white jacket with a fur lined hood, carrying a white snowboard.
She snowboards?!
I yelled.
“Hey Mel!! Wait up!”
I ran 3 blocks to her and standing behind her, I wrapped my arms around her.
“Almost couldn’t find you.” I said.
