Race!
“You kidding? I’m going to be a blur I’m going so fast!” I gloated.
“You ready to go then?” She smiled.
We strapped on to our snowboards on top of the hill.
The hill had an odd shape to it, with steps and flat stretches of snow, it won’t be a problem the hill is so long and steep.
“1…2…3…GO!” I hollered.
Mel and I both sped down the hill.
We were gaining serious speed! I was sending The falling snow was rushing away in my slipstream.
Mel was carving, she made a sharp twist, sending snow flying at me.
She laughed, and I yelled of the rushing.
“THATS NOTHING !” I grinned. “CHECK THIS OUT !”
I picked up speed, and turned to the nearest railing on the steps.
I was four feet away from it, I jumped.
For a second I was speeding through the air I twisted, sending me up, up.
Clang!
My board hit the pole. I slid down, backwards, looking at Mel, grinning from ear to ear with my arms held up.
The pole was about to end. I twisted and landed, speeding down the hill, stopping at the bottom.
I win!
